Powerflush
Incompetent gas engineer did a powerflush. How he got clean water to dirty water in the combi boiler i dont know but sadly found out after sign off the job then checking after to my shock 1 fault after another. Told manager but am being ignored as they got paid they dont care also didn't do certain jobs they ticked off they did through the leap g4ant system. Avoid or double check before signing. True colours come out after. All powerflush isn't a cheap job . Am in a postion now that homeserve will not insure me due to what ever this gas engineer had done. Boiler Service + Gas Safety Certificate
I needed a Gas Safety Certificate carried out urgently for a boiler in my Apartment in Four Oaks which was due to be rented out in a few days' time. I called a number of other companies, in local directories and via Google, and none were able to do the work the same day. I found CallGas in a local Directory and they (Nicholas) said he could do it the same day (today). He arrived within 1 hour and very promptly, was extremely courteous and came in a professional branded van with all Gas Safety registered logos etc. Work carried out professionally and certificates provided. Gas connection
First of all, it was split meter and was supposed to separate into 2 meters. He disconnected my side without notifying me and left us on the coldest night with a child and no hot water. New line to old connection. 3 appliances. Cooker, Central Heating and Gas fire. The Complainant is a lease hold tenant for a Landlord who instructed me to carry out work for him, to disconnect the gas line which was joined to his other premises and wanted his tenants to have a separate gas line supply. I was instructed to disconnect the gas line knowing the tenant had made arrangements with the Landlord. I then went the following day to connect his gas line with the Landlord present, I condemned his appliance which was immediately dangerous to life, I asked the tenant for consent to isolate the appliance, the tenant refused to let me isolate the appliance. The tenant then became very irate asked me and the landlord to leave threatened with legal action, report me to gas safe, and to leave me a bad review. I stayed professional throughout the whole process and followed the required procedure to maintain safety within the premises. I then contacted National Grid to inform them of the Immediately dangerous appliance, and I left. The Landlord informed me that the gas was disconnected and that the tenant was advised to get the appliances serviced. I asked the landlord to provide temporary heating but he refused.

Installed a new combi boiler.
Nicholas was fantastic! He replaced an old combi boiler with great efficiency, no fuss within a day. He was extremely thorough, he fitted a filter so the rads won't get rusty and a smart wireless thermostat so the temperature can be controlled with a remote control. I've experienced tradesmen who don't keep their word and don't keep to time or turn up, none of this with Nicholas he was very reassuring and explained all the controls and the work he had done in a calm knowledge and polite manner.
