• Emergency repairs to conservatory gutter box

  Capital repaired and strengthened our conservatory gutter box after torrential rain caused it to sag. It could easily have collapsed totally causing immeasurable damage. As it was, the rain poured in and flooded our newly surfaced wooden floor. Capital responded immediately, temporarily propping up the gutter box until they could return a week or so later to undertake the considerable repairs. They rejigged their entire work schedule to respond to our emergency. The job took five days altogether. We have never met more efficient, tidier and nicer guys than Anthony and Derek.

• Window, Door repairs and fit a new front door

  I was recommended to Anthony and Derek by another tradesperson. They spent a day repairing the windows and doors at a bungalow we had just purchased. Later we asked them to fit a new front door. They used good quality materials in their repairs, and the front door they provided looks good quality. The finished result is faultless. I have given five stars and have no hesitation in recommending Capital Home Improvements as I consider them genuine people running a reputable business.

• Identify and remediate conservatory leak

  Conservatory fitted by Apple in 2016; leaked ever since. Apple failed to fix it despite several attempts; eventually went out of business leaving us with a leaky conservatory. Found Derek and Anthony on Checkatrade - they removed various panels and identified the problem. They recommended another company that could fix this and then, once watertight, returned to make good all of the panels removed. Very tidy job and delighted that we no longer have a row of buckets to collect the water when it rains. They also fitted a new glass panel that had cracked in the heat. Highly recommended.
