Was asked to pay half up front Day before work started which made me feel uneasy, no itemised bill as requested. Extra £500 added for floor but not discussed or agreed before hand. Poor finish on work, had to come back three times to rectify, still question part of the finish. The boss should have come to see the work and sign off, this never happened and was asked for payment when in my opinion it wasn’t finished. Very poor communication, had someone wait in for 2-3 days for them not to turn up or arrive late with no contact or leave early say they were coming back and not.

Oh dear another customer that hasn't said a word in about 8 months. Its about 8 months since we invoiced this job so longer since we completed it. I haven't had any phone calls or emails about anything. It was agreed to pay 50% deposit for materials etc before we start. We do this on every job. There had been a few extras and the floor being one of them. No complaints at the time. This is labour, materials and the tiles. I considered it cheap. I did go to the job many times. How would they know if they are at work? Have no idea about arriving late or going early. We are not on day work and sometimes you cant get on or you need to get materials.
