Screeding and fitting Bathroom

Vinyl flooring to be laid
Conman do not use. Ripped up existing floor and advised needed further work to lay the new vinyl, quoted £250 to latex the floor. Have many friends in the trades and they confirmed the size of the area is a 20 min job and the latex is £15 so he has completely tried to overcharge me. Also has caused considerable damage when removing the floor, walls are badly marked which will require a fill and repaint, used kitchen island to put tools on has permanently marked and damaged this.
