Beautiful craftsmanship and a pleasure to work with
We couldn’t recommend Carsten more highly. He has completed several beautiful joinery projects in our very old Kentish hall house, including a built-in child’s bed, bedroom wardrobes and a large fitted desk, shelving and cupboards. He is brilliant at working with our incredibly wonky old house and making everything fit beautifully. His workmanship and attention to detail are excellent. He is also a pleasure to have around – professional, personable, tidy and accommodating. Nothing is ever too much trouble.Job location: TN310 Carpenter

Five stars, couldn’t be happier!
Absolutely delighted with our custom-fitted wardrobe! The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. He had some fantastic ideas and really involved us in the planning process, making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, with great attention to detail, and the finished wardrobe has completely exceeded our expectations. He was professional, reliable and incredibly tidy throughout the whole job, which was really appreciated. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. A fantastic carpenter who clearly takes great pride in hVerified reviewerJob location: TN2210 Cupboards

Quality workmanship
Carsten has recently completed a wardrobe renovation and extension in our property where space was restricted and options limited. He has created new storage and shelving in addition to uplifting the existing wardrobe space, the final effect being one continuous storage area. Carsten is incredibly professional and provided us with detailed drawings and examples of his work prior to arriving on site. The finished job is amazing and was achieved with minimum disruption and to a very high standard. We would highly recommend Carsten.Verified reviewerJob location: TN2210 Carpenter

Epic result, highly recommend!
I couldn’t recommend Carsten more highly. Great experience from end to end. From initial design stage, Carsten listened to all our ideas then came up with some excellent designs. He then worked like a Trojan to build us the most incredible treehouse and was flexible enough to adapt the build as we went along to ensure the best outcome. We honestly could not be happier! Great communication, excellent workmanship, stunning result. Highly recommend, if you get the chance to work with Carsten, don’t hesitate!Verified reviewerJob location: TN2210 Bespoke Furniture

I have been an established carpenter and cabinet maker since 2002 working in and around East Sussex. Most of my bespoke carpentry work involves solving storage problems. For example, creating shelves and cupboards in alcoves, work areas on landings and generally making the most of what you have got. Where possible I like to work with reclaimed materials, examples are making drawers and cupboards out of old floorboards, tables made out of reclaimed old pine doors and carved mahogany legs.
Large projects have included; designing and fitting benches, counters for shops, display units for shops and Cafes. The foyer at Knepp rewilding kitchen at Knepp Estate, walk-in wardrobe, full library rooms, boot rooms and bespoke country style kitchens. For the past 12 years I have also been making garden structures, shepherd huts and summer houses.
For all your carpentry needs, from original one-off free-standing pieces to space saving fitted furniture.
Clean, tidy workmanship and a friendly demeanour, I could be your perfect solution. Please visit my website for more information www.carstenthecarpenter.co.uk
