10 Fixing shower leak

Sam arrived on time & got to work straight away servicing our boiler. He then cut down some pipes in our loft which took no time at all. When turning the water back on he noticed a running water sound under our stairs, took up a floorboard to find a leak & repaired it quickly & efficiently. Having tried and been let down by two other plumbers in desperation phoned Carthy's. Helpful lady on phone said she had someone coming available within next 2 hours and texted me soon after to say he was on his way. Thomas arrived, looked at the problem, needed new pump, which he had on van and fitted, leaving me sorted within the hour. Had a leaking pipe in kitchen/loft following installation of new combi boiler (not installed by Carthys). Carthys sent an engineer as an emergency appointment the day after calling. Tom was very courteous from the word go. He attempted a repair, but pipe was in poor condition and it just sprung a leak further along. Came back a few days later and did a complete replacement of whole pipe. All came in on the estimated cost. We had our bathroom refurbished and from the first quotation until they had finished we found them to be a very nice company deal with and always available. They were able to start quickly and fit in other jobs around the house as well. The workmanship was of a good quality.
