Whilst booking and only after attempting to clarify their own company terms, my job was no longer suitable for Castle Surveyors and they hung up the phone; even though we had agreed a date and exchanged property details. Not very professional, good job there are plenty of other experts in the area willing to do a residential survey with better service.

We're always working to improve our services and having client feedback is always good. In this case, however, this was not a client we did work for so suspect it's spurious as we don't simply hang up the phone on potential business, but do try hard to only work with clients we feel we can help save time, money or aggravation when moving home. It's possible we didn't feel able to do so in this case, so would not have continued the instruction. It's understandable that you feel aggrieved for not getting what you want, the world is that way these days it seems as more people think they should get what they want, even when a Professional tells them it's not the best way to do it. We try to discuss requirements with our potential clients, over the phone, to ensure we can provide what they need, when they need it. If we don't think we can, then we'll provide our thoughts and initial advice (for free) then move onto the next client. Sorry but in a busy market, which we are at present due to COVID19 and the Stamp Duty Holiday, we need to prioritise our communications to focus those we can assist. Sorry if in this case that didn't include you.
