Ryan Rhodes, director of Cavalry Home Ltd, took an £8000 deposit for materials, and very quickly stopped turning up, very few materials delivered and now has stopped replying to calls, messages, emails or letters. He is also committing VAT fraud as they are not VAT registered but still tried to charge us. We have had to report him to the police as a scam.

Despite being friendly and quick to respond initially, the engineer ended up coming 4 days later than they were supposed to and then the person who came couldn't tell me anything and said they were just there to take photos. They said someone would call back with a quote...that was over 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard. The work has been done now by someone else

They visited and completed only part of the job, failing to address the issue adequately. I have followed up for job completion twice daily and was informed that it would be resolved by last week; otherwise, I would receive a refund. As of now, the job remains unfinished, and I have not received a refund and they stop replying. I cannot recommend their services. I am currently in the process of escalating this matter Highly unprofessional.

The first part if the job was done perfectly then even install a filter, added liquid in the system to leave for a week then should have come back to drain the system which is not been done even with multiple phone call always busy,I paid £500 I do not expect the world that was the price he gave me on the phone ,he took the money and left me up and dry on the last part of the process, next time I deal with a trader I will pay only in halves if the job is in two part.i was honest and paid,you m8ght think 500 is not much to me it is but I paid never again

The reason for the work was poor water pressure to the shower. An unvented cylinder was recommended and fixed the problem. Initial survey visit very prompt, after that we were let down on a couple of occasions due to item out of stock, van off road, a more urgent job - all understandable but poor community. Returned to empty loft of surplus materials, but missed quite a bit.

We'd used Cavalry before to do a simple job which worked well so when we had to move our boiler we called them again. They did the work promptly and politely but did not immediately provide the gas safety check certificate they'd agreed to do. This was promised to follow by email but a lot of chasing has been ignored since I paid for the work. I've also since noticed a bit of pipework has been left in an awkward place that will need to be moved. Avoid if you want a guarantee they'll do the work they promise.
