Colin appeared with his associate Danny who struck me as efficient. Credit card payment was agreed 1% fees; zero extra money to be paid; work included painting. First week went really well. Second week they came three times. Third week twice. Inside satisfactory but they cut corners. Outside shoddy workmanship with the brickwork: brick colour, alignments, weeping vents. Awful! They tried trimming. Even worse result. Fee rise 2.5%; extra payment for flooring. Heavy rubbish left in my bin. Now refusal to pay for repair. They want another go at it! Can you imagine? Very costly.

Col not only matched but beat my previous quotes and offered helpful advice on choosing the right flooring. He was reliable, and completed the work to a high standard.
