Some of the poor workmanship and electrical hazards he had witnessed in his over 20 years of experience was getting worse. Unqualified electricians working in the U.K has become a bigger and bigger problem. Contractors falsely claiming to be NICEIC regulated is more common than ever and unskilled builders installing electrics as part of their ‘service’ has become more commonplace. Sadly customers are all too often finding themselves left with unsafe homes or businesses that they had thought complied with U.K Building Regulations not insured for purpose. This has proved costly when the something went wrong or when trying to sell.
