    To release a bird trapped behind a fixed-in fireplace.

    A bird managed to enter and fall down our chimney. In doing so, it became trapped behind our built-in fireplace. To release it required expert, safe removal of the fireplace - a job well beyond my expertise. British Gas were not interested in helping - despite my being a HomeCare member for many years - as the job involved a “live animal”. Excuse me….?? But a call to CHAPS - a firm I’ve used many times before - yielded instant results. My call was answered promptly and within an hour an emergency engineer was on site. He (Mike) resolved the problem efficiently and safely. A job very well done.

    Central heating and water tank

    We can't speak highly enough of Nick and his team. Their service is second to none and they were immensely helpful with getting our heating system going. They are extremely efficient, tidy and friendly. We would definitely recommend using Chaps.
