    Charlie, who is also a roofer gave me a very acceptable quote which was completed on time to an excellent standard. He ensured that the old fabric was removed and disposed of leaving the whole clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others requiring a reliable worker.

    What a lovely man! We now have a much more useable utility room after Charlie fitted 2 large shelves, as well as rearranging a cupboard and putting shelves in their too. Charlie was very helpful in discussing what we were after, and suggesting how best to achieve this. He sourced the oak shelves and brackets himself. An easy and positive experience for us, and delighted with the outcome. We will definitely look to use again for any carpentry needs.

My name is Charlie Evershed and I have worked in the building trade for over 25 years and have run my own carpentry and loft conversion business for the last 20.


I am skilled in all aspects from roof construction and structural work through to fine finish detail work and anything in between.


I pitch roofs, fit Velux windows, construct decking, hang doors, fit kitchens, lay floors, fit stairs, build stud work partitions, build cupboards and storage units etc etc.
