I am going to give the call out guy the benefit of the doubt and have two new one way valves installed. With the best will there will always be around 3-5mm gap somewhere around the fitting otherwise the flap wont open and close. Disappointed the op didn't want to look around the house or understand the history or previous entry points discovered and blocked, typical of most contractors, only want to sell you something for £400. Got an invoice for £65 stating its for 3 treatment visits but only got todays visit, a suggestion and no real help

Completed the work as suggested the same day that they investigated and quoted.
