I have been working in this industry for some years but now have the experience to run my own business.

I can tackle and resolve all kinds of problems caused by damp including:

Penetrating Damp

Penetrating damp is usually caused by problems with your building structure or plumbing where a problem has allowed water to infiltrate the property. Problems with the pointing of your property, cracks in the brickwork, broken guttering, problems with the property plumbing, a down pipe that has become broken or possibly the results localised floods.

Condensation Treatment

Condensation is simply the moisture caused by everyday living that can cause real damp problems if left untreated. Moisture gets absorbed into the atmosphere of your property and when the property cools down the moisture condenses on cool surfaces. The result is condensation, an extremely underestimated cause of damage to our homes and is almost certainly the most common form of dampness within a building. Thankfully, with everyday living, there are solutions to the problem through condensation treatments.

Damp Coursing

Cheshire Damp Proofing offer a full damp-proof course service, as a horizontal barrier in a wall designed to resist moisture rising through the structure, a process known as rising damp.

A damp-proof membrane (DPM) performs a similar function for a solid floor. Moisture resistance is not necessarily absolute: it is usually defined by a specific test method, limits, and engineering tolerances. In simpler words, DPC is used to stop dampness in buildings.
