DO NOT USE
Paid Chimney Chaps/Brett Smith £1,500 deposit in Dec 2024 for a second fireplace. Eight months later—no work, no refund. Excuses ranged from “no access to bank account,” “in intensive care in France,” to “no longer a British citizen.” Filed a CCJ after being ignored, yet Brett responded instantly to a new customer enquiry—proving I was being deliberately misled. Unprofessional, evasive, and dishonest. Avoid at all costs.

fitted new twin wall log burner flu & flog burner stove
The guy which owns the company Bret is certainly not customer friendly , the job was completed but not in working order , they did a smoke test after everything had been done and filled my new kitchen with smoke and try to tell me the chimney was working fine . after several phone calls text messages because he dosnt answer his phone and nearly a year later I have resolved the problem myself by fitting a anti down draft cowl .The guy is only interested in taking your money please dont use this company he is not bothered in sorting anything out just taking your money !!!

Fitting wood burning stove and chimney liner
The guys were punctual, polite and tidy - they did a great job. The only slight negative was that they didn't take away the rubbish - it was left neatly piled outside the house. I'm also still waiting for the certificates to be sent through but it's only been 3 weeks since the install.

Chimney swept and seals checked.
Friendly and efficient service. Brought carpet protectors and covers for the fireplace to eliminate mess. Explained what he was doing each step of the way and re-applied sealants as needed. Will make use of his service again.

Two log burners
Supplied and fitted two log burners which are great. I would have left a five star review except still waiting for compliance certificates almost a year later. Emails and requests gor this are ignored.
