I was very disappointed to receive this complaint which is completely at odds with my feedback reviews over many years. If you read this review, please also read previous review, a job I did on the same day, and compare. I take pride in my workmanship and if I’m not the most articulate in the world, I am always courteous. I quoted and the customer immediately offered £30 less for a small bathroom ceiling which I accepted. It was a new bathroom, all floor coverings were down and everything was sheeted up. I finished the job and removed all the protection and was about to clean down and the customer told me not to worry, he would finish tidying. He was completely satisfied with the job and he paid me there and then. Only when I had loaded my van did his daughter appear and started criticising my work. Had I received a call about any aspect of the final finish I would have returned and resolved what the perceived issue was. But no, it’s much easier to fire off a poor review without any intention of seeking a remedy. Very disappointed by this person’s, or his daughter’s, attitude and action which I believe is unfounded and malicious.
