I took my plumbing apprenticeship when I left school (longer ago than I care to think about!) I make sure I stay up to date with new guidelines, products and plumbing methods, regularly taking new courses.

I have always done my utmost to provide my customers with the best possible service and quality of work, imagining each job as if it were being done for me.

I am clear on the standard of service I expect and how I want people to behave when they are in my house. Consequently, I have been able to work entirely through client recommendations throughout my plumbing career.

I am happy to follow instructions when a client has already decided exactly what they want, but in many cases I am able to offer design advice through my wealth of experience. I will always make a client aware of all the possible options available to them.

I ensure that I stay below the VAT threshold so my fees come without the extra 20% at the end. I have a good relationship with a plumber’s merchant and pass on any discounts I negotiate with them directly to my clients.

I'm happy to consider most plumbing jobs, whether it's an hours work or a week’s work. I am also a Gas Safe registered heating engineer, so can fix a small gas leak or install an entirely new central heating system from scratch.
