Ross and his team carried out the damp proofing work at our property, very thorough from surveying and giving us a quote, to carrying out the works and completing. Very impressed with how tidy they had my house, even with the amount of mess they had to make to get the job done. After each day they left the house spotless and clean. The work itself was carried out to a high standard, and they kept us informed throughout the whole job of their findings and what they were doing. James came to look at our damp, cold walls beneath two bay windows. He checked the walls thoroughly and provided us with advice on how to overcome the problem. James was very personable, professional and reassuring and followed up his visit with an email providing links to the products which he had recommended. Professional and hardworking. The work has only just been completed so I’m unable to comment on long- term effectiveness at this stage. However, the work carried out seems very thorough and I was kept up to date at all stages. Can feel a difference to the air quality in the basement with the ventilation. City Damp Solutions Ltd a brilliant, a highly professional and very reliable organisation. Their fixed quotation was both fair and competitive to install a complex damp proof system including plaster removal, re-render and replaster the ground floor of a Portsmouth terraced house belonging to my daughter. Most important for me was timing so that the major works could be completed whilst my daughter was away on holiday. They quoted a date and even turned up a day early.
