    A piece of soffit had dropped off from the edge of my roof and needed re-attaching.

    I got a msg from Chris at City Roofing VOG through Checkatrade. He asked me to send photos of the issue on WhatsApp and gave me a quote and time when he could complete the job. I had to delay the original date due to a hospital appointment and Chris was very understanding agreeing to come the next day instead. Chris and his team turned up early on the day and the job was completed very quickly and effectively. Chris was great at communicating and fair with quote. Knowing this was a relatively small job, i was v grateful to Chris for completing it as no other companies even bothered to respond.

    Roof repair

    I needed a repair done to my roof and would have normally got 3 quotes before picking a trader but after meeting Chris I knew he was someone I could trust and the price for the work was good. Chris sent me a video showing exactly what needed to be done and photos of the finished job. There was no hidden extras. I would be happy to highly recommend him to anybody.

Hello all, we are a newly established roofing company based in the Vale of Glamorgan area.


I also cover to Newport East and to Swansea West.

I have 20 years of pitched roofing experience.


My main aim on this journey I have taken is to give our customers the best possible workmanship.


I am aware that our customers are my main priority and will always come first.


When I complete a job payment must be paid in full on the day no excuses.


I have scaffolders, rubbish men and materials to pay for out of my own pocket before I get the money off the client so would really be appreciated to have payment on completion.

We prefer our clients to contact a scaffolding company themselves, perhaps they know someone and could maybe get it a little cheaper (win win).


We feel this gives the client the freedom to work around their schedule and gives them some reassurance that there are no hidden charges.

I know this description is probably long winded and you've probably fallen asleep, but hope you take the time to read and hope to hear from you soon.


We understand that we are not the only roofing company around, and we like to think of ourselves as helpful and offer our services far and wide at our own expense when it comes to giving quotes.


So that being said, a follow up weather that be a yes or no is greatly appreciated.


This keeps us on track for all our customers and gives us the opportunities to get jobs booked in correctly.
