  Friendly gardening service in Stortford

  Lesley came to do our garden on Friday. It was mainly mowing, weeding, plant care and general tidying. She was very friendly and brought her own tools. We have booked CJ Gardening for a regular slot.

  laying a new lawn

  Lesley and Alastair did a wonderful job laying a lawn in our unloved back garden. As well as doing excellent work they are also lovely people. We will definitely work with them again in the future.

  General garden maintenance

  Professional, friendly and knowledgeable service. After just one visit, my garden is tidy and neater than it has been for a long time. Weeds are under control and plants have been been pruned and shaped. The aim is for this to be a regular maintenance service once the initial hard work is completed.

  Garden Tidy-up

  Alastair & Lesley were great from the very first contact and we were so pleased with their work to fix up our garden. They came to visit the garden in order to review the job and give us a quote & were then able to give us dates within two weeks. They worked extremely hard over two days, doing extensive weeding, digging out flower beds, rotivating & mowing the lawn, leaving us with a clear canvas to proceed with the garden in our chosen way, which is what we wanted. They were happy to give us plenty of tips/advice and were lovely to chat with. Very trustworthy too & we will use them again.

  Bringing a small overgrown garden back under control

  Lesley is an absolute star. She worked tirelessly for 3 hours, mowing, pruning & weeding, and understood exactly what I meant when I said that I didn’t want it to look TOO manicured, going to the trouble of cutting the shrubs with secateurs rather than shears or an electric hedge trimmer & leaving it looking tidy but natural. It’s so nice to find a ‘proper gardener’ (and at a reasonable price too). I couldn’t be more delighted and would recommend her to anyone.
