Skilled professional service with warmth and friendliness
Dealing with Clapton Glass and Joinery was a joy. I ordered windows for my Victorian flat and received friendly, knowledgeable and skilled advice on the right solutions for my needs for quiet and privacy. The windows are beautifully made and look great - better than I imagined. Both Tonys were incredibly approachable but with a vast well of knowledge. They were fitted by skilled, professional craftsmen who cleaned up and also happened to be warm, friendly and lovely. Really pleased and can’t wait to see the doors I have ordered. Love our new Decorio French Doors

Love these guy's work and love my windows , Proper and professional.
What a joy to deal with such a brilliant and reliable company. Having had all my wooden framed sash windows replaced nearly ten years ago the follow up service and customer care is outstanding. Solid double glazing conforming to conservation regulations, not an issue. Stan and Tony have a fantastic family business which shines through in every way. Always easy, never a bother, how great to be able to talk to a human rather than a computer. Replacements, repairs or advice. Give Tony a call, he is your man. Can't recommend them highly enough. In 1972, Clapton, East London, and Chatsworth Road were very different places.
That year we opened our first shop and workshop providing glass cutting, and over the decades we have expanded into the full range of glass and joinery services you see today.
We are proud to be one of the last remaining traditional glass shops on the high street, still serving our local community and beyond with the same dedication to quality craftsmanship that has defined our family business for over 50 years.
Over the years, Clapton Glass and Joinery has specialised in the repair and replacement of traditional period sash windows, but our expertise extends far beyond this.
From cut-glass, glazing, and bespoke joinery to UPVC and aluminium windows, doors, mirrors, shower screens, bi-fold doors, and more, we are able to undertake projects of any size — from one-off glass cutting while you wait, to period property restorations and commercial refurbishments.
We are passionate about combining traditional skills with modern solutions, providing residential and commercial clients with work that is both beautiful and built to last.
