    I recently had my stairs and landing fitted by a fitter at clarkes carpets and was very pleased with the whole experience from going into their showroom to select the carpet to having it fitted. The staff in the showroom were very friendly and helpful after feeling overwhelmed by the choice they offer. I recommend using them for any flooring needs, currently ordering my laminate flooring so ill write another review once fitted.

    I’ve just had my Stairs and landing fitted, and from start to finish, the excellent service and choice in store, the ordering process, then the installation, was second to none! I have to thank Ben for helping me to choose my carpet…..so much choice, but he helped a very indecisive person to settle on one, and I absolutely love it, thankyou! Also to Mark and David, the installers…so friendly, helpful and tidy…..so refreshing these days!!  Nothing was too much trouble! I was recommended to Clarkes, and have since passed their details on to family and friends….I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

    Absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable sales staff who really go the extra mile, great selection of products, not only fit for purpose but very good looking products adding a touch of luxury to my home. The fitters worked tirelessly and worked a long full day and to a very high standard. Saj was our fitter with his colleague. After a really bad experience with the first company we had the misfortune of dealing with, something in the name about it being "right" and it was anything but. Clarkes on the other hand are a breath of fresh air, professional, quality and overall 11 out of 10.

Clarkes was formed in 1968 by Nobby Clarke and his son Tim, and its original location was in North Street, Romford. In 1972 the shop relocated to the premises on Roneo Corner allowing us to offer a greater range of both products and services. At this point the quest began to become the 'Finest Carpet Store in the World'. After many years of effort, listening to both suppliers and customers, it is hard to find any of them who would disagree that we are very close to achieving this goal if we have not already!!Not satisfied and never to be accussed of sittin on our laurels, the company has now moved forward again into a new ventures in recent years. We have now expanded and developed the store into a Home Furnishing Centre now offering a fantastic selection of Furniture, Lighting and Gifts creating a veritable Alladins Cave of delights where you can wander to your hearts content through over 21 room settings and 2 floors which can only be described as a magical experience. Click on the image below to have an express tour of the store.Always putting customers needs and requirements first, Clarkes are always looking for ways to improve our service and rely heavily on recommendation and repeat business. We are proud to acknowledge this by the number of new customers now coming to the store citing their parent, friends and families as having recomended us. We believe this to be the number one reason why our family business continues to be sucessful and we are very proud of our business and the respectability we have gained over the years within the local communities and their families.Thank you for taking the time to read and understand our company.
