  Complete refurbishment, including re-wiring, new central heating system, new bathroom, painting, decorating and lots else besides.

  I cannot recommend Pat Scannell and his team highly enough. He completely refurbished our flat and transformed it in less than 3 months. He commuted from Brighton to London everyday, organising all logistics and the work was completed with amazing efficiency, professionalism and expertise. Everything has been finished to a high degree and his advice and patience was extremely welcome to us as first time renovators. His team are fantastically expert, personable, super efficient and nothing was too much to ask. We would not have undertaken this work without knowing Pat. An exceptional service.

  Repair and replace extension flat roof and window lintel due to leaks

  The original estimate was given with a warning that there might be further work necessary. It became obvious that the extension flat roof was badly decayed underneath, and needed to be replaced. Likewise, it was found that the window lintel had broken in 3 places and needed replacing. The work was done on time and I was kept clearly informed of any further work and expenses that became necessary. Patrick and his team were polite and friendly and kept to schedule. They tidied up the back patio before leaving, removing all building rubbish. I was very pleased.

  A new room was built on the ground floor with alterations to the kitchen and upstairs a new bathroom was builtrooom

  Pat brought together a team of sub contractors all trades people that he knew were reliable and to quote his words they were not the cheapest but they were the best and this is reflected in the standard and quality of the work carried out they were a happy bunch and were called at times to hand within 24 hours as conditions or at times as snags arouseIts worth noting also that prior to finishing the day the place was swept and left tidy

  Side return kitchen extension with bi-fold doors.

  Can't fault Clayton Builders and Ricky Scannell Carpentry who also worked on the job. Ricky took the entire (fairly new) kitchen out and then re-fitted it in a different design after the extension was complete. He also laid a new deck in the garden etc. Pat, the builder, and his team were also excellent - any problems were solved quickly and with no fuss. Would highly recommend and am happy to talk to any future clients. The extension was the 2nd job Pat had done for us, and Ricky has done numerous jobs.

  Major kitchen refurb, chimney breasts removed, new heating system, new steels, bi-fold doors.

  Pat and his team were superb throughout, efficient, polite and timely. Pat managed the whole project and coordinated plumbers, electricians, plasterers, carpenters. Everything ran very smoothly and any changes of mind (on my part) were graciously accommodated. All on schedule apart from a slight 'hiccup' with kitchen fitting due to Christmas period, unavoidable. Would highly recommend Clayton Contractors anytime.
