Internal Refurb
I recently had an internal refurbishment done by Clear-Cut Carpentry, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the work was completed to an exceptionally high standard. Renovation of a Bungalow
Last year I took possession of an internally derelict bungalow. James Pine of Clearcut-Carpentry was engaged after a site meeting, and subsequent estimate was agreed. I found James to be knowledgable, straight forward and business-like. He did what said at the price quoted, with no surprises on the way . The work was completed to a high standard. However, the highlight of the job was James' suggestion to entirely reorder the interior of the bungalow, effectively turning it back to front to create a modern, spacious living area, a great improvement on the original. 1st Floor Extension - Internal
We have completed a large scale renovation project to our home in two parts - both using Clear Cut Carpentry Ltd. 2024 saw the structure erected. 2025 James and his team have been working on the internal aspects. It has been a pleasure to have them back as they are reliable, helpful, friendly and complete works to the highest standard. We now have walls plastered, internal woodwork completed and are beginning to see bathrooms being installed and tiles go on the wall, it’s brilliant to see it all come together. Easy communication with James throughout, he explained all steps which made the process simple. Loft conversion with leaks
Very disappointing that after only 19 months we’ve had quite a severe leak in the roof of the loft conversion that James built. We contacted James 3 months ago and it still has not been repaired. A roofer did inspect it and said the quality of cement used would not hold up and has failed. James had made constant excuses and we’re still no closer to getting this leak fixed. Since 3 months has passed, the ceiling needs to be replasted as well now because there’s no protection from the roof in heavy rain we’ve had over the past 3 months.
