Two old storage heaters in hallway & living room replaced with new storage heaters.

On the recommendation of a neighbour I contacted Neil at Cleaver electrical who as most helpful and asked for a couple of pictures of my old storage heaters and where they were in my property, in less than an hour I received a detailed quote of the price of two Dimplex Quantum storage heaters supplied and fitted with minor electrical work of a new socket which needed installed. I was happy with the quote and we agreed an installation date a week later, Steve & Duane were the installers who were on time and were great.

Bathroom fan re-install

Communication was quick and the quote was reasonable and were able to book in for a suitable time where the contractor would have all necessary equipment to do the job in one visit. Arrived in good time and fixed a mess left by previous owners, re-drilled duct and fitted the fan I had purchased. All done in good time and left the bathroom tidy. I would use this company again and recommend for any electrical work.

Bits and pieces to be repaired.

Four light switches were not working or working intermittently, two light shades hanging from tall ceilings to be replaced. One power point to be repaired. Small jobs but a big impact. The faults were found quickly and fixed. The electricians were friendly, good communicators and did the job quickly and efficiently. Will definitely recommend the company to others. The communication from the office was prompt and very helpful.

Really happy with the whole process. Everything was sorted out via email, and replies were always prompt. Once the quote was agreed, they were able to book the job just three days later. The worker who installed the storage heater was incredibly friendly and professional. The installation was perfect, and everything was left incredibly tidy afterwards.

Special lights

Duane came to property to look at faulty light (had to be replaced with an exact match - not standard lights you might find elsewhere). Duane searched for exact replacement, ordered it and kept me informed of manufacturers delivery times and installation timeframe. Attended second time to fit new light. In theory a simple job to replace light but more complicated by having to find non-standard lighting. Went out of way to provide an excellent service way above what you might expect for a small job. LED Lights

Asked the company to come and fix some company lights. Electrician arrived and said it would be easier (for them) not to fix the lights but install an LED strip instead. Quoted £1k+ for a colour strip and £600 for normal LED - outrageously high. When I asked to provide a quote splitting out the cost of LED vs their cost of work ghosted me despite chasing. Charged £150 for initial outcall.

We work hard to provide a professional, courteous service as well as an accurate quote, please refer to our 89 reviews with an average review rating of 9.55. The client contacted us regarding a fault with his external lighting and installing a supply to an AC unit. He accepted our quotation of £114.00 inc VAT. We are confused by the client’s mention of a £150. We were recommended to this client by satisfied customers from the same building. We quoted for changing the lights to LED colour changing, remote controlled, which the client deemed expensive. We re-quoted for LED White lights, a less expensive option. At this point, it is up to the client to proceed with the quotation. We do not pressure clients in any way. When we quote it includes: To supply, fit and certify the installation. We apologise if we missed messages. The lack of a response was a genuine error on our part and we sincerely apologise. We are also extremely concerned about some comments in the review and disappointed that we were not given an opportunity to discuss concerns and rectify any issues.
