    Drain cover replacement

    Our old imperial size manhole cover had cracked & needed replacement with a new metric frame & cover. Coastal Drains were very helpful & turned up when they said they would. Billy felt an additional lintel to the manhole was required and fitted this at no extra charge. He was courteous and hard working throughout. I would certainly use this firm again for any drainage work.

    Clearing a blocked sewage pipe.

    I had a situation where we had sewage rising out of our downstairs loo. We called in a panic the first people we found on a search engine. They sent 2 men , charged a small fortune and didn’t clear the drain. My sister said called Coastsl drains . They are great . So along came young Gavin and what a difference . Very tidy and respectful of both home and client . Solved the problem and with using a camera discovered a problem with a sinking main sewage pipe . He has taken it upon himself to fight Southern Water on my behalf to fix the main pipe . I highly recommend Coastal Drains .

    Tree root removal from sewer pipe & relining.

    Despite arriving a little late, a very amiable Billy set about the job in a very thorough way. He took care in keeping our home clean and was courteous and flexible when several other contractors arrived on site and vehicles needed to be choreographed. Once the work was complete, Billy explained and demonstrated the work carried out.

    Blocked drain

    Following a phone call to Costal Drains in the morning, Billy arrived in the early afternoon to unblock a drain and clear pipes which serve our kitchen and bathroom. Billy was courteous, professional and efficient throughout quite a tricky procedure to remove a sizeable blockage of waste material and clean the drains thoroughly. The areas involved were left clean and tidy and the disruption was minimal. Thank you Billy and Costal Drains for a great service and we would certainly recommend your company to others.

    Cleared blocked soakaway

    Called them at lunchtime, engineer was at the property by 5pm. The pipe leading to a soakaway from the gutter downpipe was completely blocked up with moss and dirt. Could have been a tricky job, but with a high pressure water jet and the right nozzles to send it round corners, it was cleared in just a few minutes. Plenty of water sent through to test it. Cleared up perfectly after the job and helped put the furniture back. Invoiced just as quoted on the phone (just check if they are quoting you inc. or ex. VAT if you’re a private customer, this wasn’t clear) Very happy, would call them again.

    Lifting a stuck manhole cover

    Coastal Drains came out to lift a stuck manhole cover. Arrived early. Cheerful. Took shoes off when going through the house without having to be asked. Did the job quickly and carefully. Tidied up. A brilliant service.
