I have recently outsourced a detailed hardwood porch to louis on a current job. I am so impressed with the results — especially the exceptional top-tier craftsmanship and the use of traditional joints and time-honored method s. The quality and attention to detail are outstanding. I would highly recommend Louis and His team to anyone looking for high-end, bespoke joinery work.

Louis created and fitted a bannister for us. He was extremely helpful when it came to matching the bannister to our wooden floors, sending photos, and ensuring we were happy at every step. He was reliable, punctual, and friendly, and we would absolutely use him for any further joinery/ carpenter work we needed. Would highly recommend.

We were introduced to Coggins Joinery through our builder as part of a development project we were having done. Starting with new, handmade garage doors, then moving on to the hugely challenging replication of 1930s end caps on our banisters, Louis has produced outstanding, quality work. His attention to detail and excellence of the work then prompted us to commission a new cabinet in our living room. Would not hesitate to recommend...fantastic work.

I was in need of a stairgate to keep my dog safe but my job had been declined by a number of other joiners, perhaps too niche or too tricky a job as it was an awkward space so needed to be completely bespoke. Louis came to the rescue, listened carefully to exactly what I needed and created/fitted the perfect solution. It ended up better than I’d imagined and is now a nice feature which also keeps my dog safe rather than an awkward or inconvenient bit of furniture which stairgates often are. He was friendly, adaptable and respectful of my home. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks, Louis!

On moving into our new home, we discovered that one window had a rotten frame and it needed replacing. After contacting many window companies, including the original manufacturer, all of whom said that they couldn't help, I was recommended to Louie. Louie communicates brilliantly - very responsive - and quickly came to our home. One quick look and he said 'yep, no problem'. He took the original window out, took it away for a week and returned with a perfect replacement that he promptly and easily fitted. Louie was a great fine and I now have a good few other joinery jobs for him!

We were more than delighted with the work of Louis. He created 2 wardrobes, with shelf, rail and drawers. Then in between the two was 3 large deep drawers, so we have more than enough storage now. He was prompt, professional, polite, and the work was done to a really high standard, so I'd highly recommend him.
