  Replace faulty light fittings

  Colin and his team are always friendly, explain the work required in language I can understand and are reliable in terms of timekeeping and billing. This business has carried out plenty of work for us in the past and are always our first port of call when we need EICR, renovation work or ad-hoc repairs

  The best electricans by far

  Colin was a subcontractor for our builder who raved about the quality of Colin and his teams work. I have to say that I too thought they were great. Scott and Kiernan were diligent, super polite and cleaned the house better than I do! They made suggestions about fittings etc to make it the best possible solution for us rather than not consult us and take the easy route. My husband and I were both really expressed and would definitely use them again for any electrical work we have. For me they ticked the boxes of they turned up when they said they would, they went above and beyond.

  Colin changed to single sockets to double sockets .

  Colin changed 2 single sockets in difficult places to 2 double sockets. Lovely guy . Put up with my 2 nuisance dogs. He was tidy and efficient . Even helped an elderly confused neighbour who called round. Would use him anytime .

  Spotlight Design and Fitting

  We had spot lights fitted to our extension which coincided with a roof replacement, we put the job our via Checkatrade and Colin responded within aa hour. Speaking with Colin, he was informative, polite and friendly. We had to move the job a few times due to weather for the roof, and Colin was accommodating and helpful throughout. Scott and Ciaran arrived on time on the day and were also friendly and assisted us with the best layout for the lights, they were polite and did a great job with no mess left. Colin followed up afterwards to check all was completed. Great bunch of guys, will use again!

  Extensive rewire of new open plan kitchen/diner/utility

  We had a comprehensive rewire of our new large open plan kitchen/Diner/utility room co plated by Colin Barson electrical services. From start to finish they were genuinely fantastic. The quote provided was reasonably priced for a large job and comprehensive with no hidden surprises. Colin himself came to our home before work started and spent a good couple of hours talking through our requirements, he gave advice but never forced ideas on us or gave a hard sell. Colin, Scott and Kieran worked efficiently, tidily and were all incredibly polite and we could simply not be happier with the result!

  Rewire Kitchen/Diner

  New rings downstairs needed to be created for kitchen appliances and electric radiators and lighting. Colin and his team were a pleasure to have working in the house. They are all very personable and professional and certainly very polite. They overcame unforeseen problems with minimum fuss and we were kept informed at all times of what the issues/remedies were. I would not hesitate to recommend Colin and have already used him again albeit for a smaller job but carried out in the same happy manner. A master of his craft and highly competitive. Well done Colin and the team.
