Scott Barber was employed to work on my barn conversion, on the day he was finishing my job he left someone else to balance the radiators, this person left 5 minutes later and hence one of the radiators doesn't get warm. Scott blames the faulty valves (all 6 of them) and has promised to come back but since then the bath waste has leaked and flooded the kitchen and he is now not answering his phone to me, probably a faulty part though again, it's a bad workman that blames the tools. And yes, he's been paid! I've got someone else in to finish the job, how embarrassing.
Response from Complete Heating Care Limited
We are shocked and very disappointed that this customer feels she needs to leave such a bad review. Where the facts are incorrect.
We carried out the plumbing and heating installation at their holidays let barn conversion. We did a lot of extra work and helped out to find trades to help complete the project and all ways tried to help where we could. We installed bathroom units when this was not on the original quote and did not charge extra. We also piped up the kitchen sink and installed 2 outside taps (which i only asked for the materials cost). The job was finished heat tested and working fine. The customer contacted me about 3 weeks after to inform me that some of the radiators where not working. When checking the heating I found that 4 of the thermostatic radiator valves where faulty and needed changing (customer supplied radiators and valves). We did not charge for this visit.
We have never been contacted about a leak from bathroom and they were all tested correctly.
We were paid by the customer - but not for the materials and any of the extra work we completed.
I have been a self employed plumber and heating engineer for the last 19 years. I pride myself on my work, and my reliability.
