Planing down two doors

Clear and fix guttering, and remove some builder's debris from an inaccessible location.

Very strange behaviour - cannot recommend
I had a very strange encounter with Dermott. He came out to quote for kitchen splash back tiling, 20x10 size metro tiles, and to hang some mirrors and hang 3 blinds. He went away and came back with a price and we agreed and install date. He came today and got out his spirit level, made some markings on the wall for tile spacings, then just walked out of my house and drove off, without saying anything. I got a text from him saying he can no longer do it for the price quoted as he didn’t know I was using “small tiles”. This is even though it was discussed and they are a common size. I visited this property a few weeks ago to do a quote for tiling and a few other jobs. We discussed putting up 40cm high tiles and he was to purchase them. Later I gave him a a quote for labour only. At no point did he mention using 10cm high brick tiles. To lay these tiles would require more time and therefore a different quote.I was very surprised that he did not inform me of the change prior to starting.

Fixing a curtain rail and adding a lock to a bedroom door
