Key cutting for car
Advised before key cut it may not work which we accepted. However key was cut badly and when used it got stuck in the ignition. This isn't the same as the key not working. Used breakdown cover to try and resolve - they couldn't help so called a locksmith. Tried calling company beforehand but they were closed so had to pay £110 to get the key removed. Spoke to company once open - they said they had a call out service and we should have used it. Shop front doesn't advertise this and we didnt know Don't trust them with your keys - shoddy service/workmanship. These people came into our shop & wanted to cut the car key in their blank they had bought elsewhere, we told them it can not be guaranteed as we did not supply the blank key, we charged them £10. The customer came back 3 days later and told us it had jammed in the lock, we told them we did not guarantee the key but still gave a full refund.
