Very upset at what this company did to my beautiful eucalyptus tree, I asked them not to cut certain parts of my tree n they didn't listen, absolutely mutilated the tree, I feel unlistened too n very angry, my tree had a lovely shape to it plenty of leaves bushy, it just looked full, now it looks very sparse, no protection from the elements for the birds of for my house. All I wanted was 6 foot of the top about 2/3 off the side that was connecting to my house! It looks terrible! If you want your tree cut to how you want it, don't choose this company, they don't care what you want!
Response from Connick Tree Care
We’re truly sorry to hear that you are upset with the final appearance of your tree and that you feel your concerns were not fully addressed. During the work, the Connick Tree Care (CTC) team made efforts to liaise with you to ensure your needs were considered while carrying out the tree work as directed by the local council.
All tree work performed by CTC follows the British standard BS 3998: 2010 tree work recommendations, and as an Arboricultural Association-approved contractor, we take these guidelines very seriously. Additionally, the work was planned for November to avoid the nesting season and reduce any potential impact on wildlife.
If you would like more information on how BHCC determines their tree work, we encourage you to contact their Arboricultural department at the local council.
