  Excellent Standards of Work

  Cooke and Lock came highly recommended and provided a competitive quote. We have not been disappointed! From the outset Dave (director and co owner) listened to our requirements, gave advice and kept us fully informed on a daily basis as to what would be happening and who would be on site. He also closely monitored progress. His employees were friendly, helpful and skilled - some exceptionally so. Debris and surplus materials were regularly cleared off site. We could not be more pleased with the final outcome. It would be difficult for any builder to surpass Dave’s high standards.

  Quality job and a great team

  Just had Cooke and Lock complete an extension for us and have done an amazing job. First time using Cooke and Lock and couldn’t be happier. They were trustworthy and did a great job for a fair price which is all I could ask. Dave was great project managing the whole job and always keeping us updated who was coming and when. The team were also really friendly and respectful which was great. All our friends and family have said how great it looks. would definitely recommend.

  Great job fair price

  After a full house renovation last year we wanted fitted wardrobes. We immediately went back to Cooke & Lock as we completely trust them and know they will do a good job for a fair price. Great service from Dave who booked a quote with Howdens straight away and booked the job in quickly. The quality of the carpentry is excellent. Ben and Frankie are always friendly and respectful of our home.

  House project

  I used Cooke and Locke for a 6 week house project, which included rewiring, plastering, new woodwork, full decoration. Sam was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process stress-free. Everything was planned meticulously and organised well with the works carried out to a high standard. I am so pleased with the finished works. Communication was excellent and work was carried out reliably and to time scale. Sam expertly provided advice ahead of and during the project. I 100% recommend Cooke and Locke and will not hesitate to use them again.

  Reliable & Trustworthy To Do a Complete Job

  Cooke & Lock are a very professional company who do a great job to a very high standard. They are very reliable & clear about pricing & payment plans. Tradesman turn up on site when they are due & you are kept well informed about who will be arriving & when & what will be done on the day. I have had an extension built by this company & it was done within the 8 week time frame & met completely with building regs. Recently had deckboards & fence panels replaced & a hot tub cut up & cleared. Very pleased with the all the works that have been completed. The tradesmen always tidy up too. 5 STAR

  No hidden charges!

  I’ve recently had a Loft conversion completed by the team at Cooke and Lock and could not be happier. The price was as quoted and they were professional from the start of the project to the end. The team were always clean and tidy which is a huge plus for me. The team and very friendly and they know their stuff. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future for any other projects.
