Kitchen led downlights replaced
Mark came back quickly with a quote that was reasonably priced, he also managed to fit me quickly. Marks communications before were prompt and he kept me updated. He came on the day he said he would and changed all 10 down lights, he also left the kitchen today and clean. Dressing Room Lighting and Backlit Onyx Amazing
Mark has been fantastic throughout our home renovation, completing 1st fix and now helping with 2nd fix. He is always punctual, tidy, and makes great suggestions that really enhance the end result. Most recently, he installed lighting inside our wardrobes that comes on when opened and switches off if left open for too long. Backlit our onyx dressing table with a dimmer for both soft ambient light and brighter task lighting, and added a discreet sensor night light under the table. New consumer unit and lighting
We've used Mark a few times now at our previous house and our current house. He's recently replaced the old fuse box with a modern consumer unit and installed dimmable down lights in our bathroom together with a new shaver socket. Mark is very friendly, helpful and completes all his work to a very high standard. We are planning a kitchen extension later this year and Mark will again be our first choice for the electrical work. Electrical survey and full house rewire/update
We reached out to Mark to do an electrical survey of a house we were purchasing. He was swift, efficient and polite. After the survey he highlighted what was essentially needed for safety, as well as recommendations for longevity. We used this to negotiate the purchase price. Once the sale was completed Mark did a full rewire of our new home, making it safe and brining it up to date with a new fuse box and new sockets. He also moved light switches, installed new lights and a doorbell/camera. He was always willing to discuss extra jobs and offer advice. He cleaned afterwards. I am a 37-year-old electrician with 16 years’ experience in a variety of applications. I completed an apprenticeship combining some domestic work as well as commercial works such as hotels and shopping centres.
I then spent several years gaining experience as a first and second fix access control, fire alarm, intruder alarm & IP CCTV systems engineer before returning to mains electrical works. The previous experience however did give me a thorough grounding in controls systems, whether that be heating controls or signals. It gave me an insight into data networking and since then I have offered a first fix data and AV service to builders.
I have been in the Gloucestershire area 4 years.
Previously I spent 5 and a half years working on prestigious high-end projects in Central London as the main electrical contractor. To begin with I provided an installation and maintenance service then as the main contractor grew, I moved into more of an electrical design and installation role.
The projects involved total renovations of Georgian/Victorian era homes, including basement fit outs. As well as modern apartments and more traditional countryside homes. The installations have involved upgrades to three phase installations due to the higher electrical demand of these properties.
I have experience with steam rooms, saunas, and swimming pools. I have been responsible for the entire electrical installation, root, and branch from design to installation, including networked heating control systems, Audio Visual systems, garden lights, as well as providing economical and effective LED lighting and dimming systems.
I also offer landlord certificates and emergency lighting maintenance and accept card payments for call outs.
I moved to the Southwest away from London to be closer to my family who have all slowly moved from the south east to the south west. Where we have now started a family. Give me a call for your jobs big and small!
