    Avoid Avoid Avoid Cullercoats Carpenter

    Contacted Kieran on 12th September to build a bathroom cabinet. After measuring, he sent a quote & invoice on 6th October. We paid half upfront, as requested. Then he vanished. No updates. No replies. Nothing. I had to get the bank involved to recover our money, only then did he crawl out of the woodwork on 5th Nov, promising to come fit the cabinet. 10th Nov, he turned up with half a cabinet. No door. No finished sides. Just a pretty useless shell dumped in our bathroom. On 10th Dec said he’d fix the issue on the 11th, and has ignored every msg since. Reported to Action Fraud & Trading Stds.

    Installation of bifold doors after building the opening for them

    Totally UNPROFESSIONAL and incapable to take responsibility for his own actions. He even CHIPPED one of the NEW DOORS without offering to fix it. He built an opening of the wrong size for the installation of bifold doors. That wouldn’t have been a problem if he’d been willing to find a solution. He didn’t seem concerned at all and a few days later he declined to continue, considering ‘there is no balance outstanding’. I tried in vain to recontact him twice. If anything goes awry he’ll leave you completely in the lurch. Not what you would expect from a professional. I do not recommend at all.

    Replaced skirting and doors

    Definitely recommend Kieran. He replaced our skirting and fit new doors and we had great communication from start to finish with excellent recommendations for our home. Everything finished to a high standard and was always happy to help even before coming to do the job. Reliable and a really nice guy. 5 stars!

    Lay laminate flooring in a large conservatory

    Kieran submitted a very fair and competitive quote for the job after I advertised on facebook. He carried out the job as arranged and I could not be happier with the result. He is very professional and proficient and went the extra mile to ensure a superb finish. Would not hesitate to use him again.

    Large decking with balustrade

    Kieran recently built us a large garden deck in the pouring rain which didn't bother him at all and was meticulous from start to finish. I can't express enough how happy we are with our decking, it's solid and finished to a extremely high standard.The deck was built on a slope in the ground too but not that you'd know now! Would definitely recommend!
