  Damp Survey

  Utterly useless "survey" not worth the paper it was written on, but charged at £125+VAT

  Their "survey":- - relied only on a damp meter and a very cursory visual inspection that missed obvious causes of DPC bridging - only pushed expensive chemical injected DPC, giving no detail on any other more period property appropriate intervention - was useless even as a quote, as it left at least half the work (labelled "enabling work") entirely un-costed, so I could not negotiate for a contribution to this from the seller. I now have to repeat the process with a more reputable company. Avoid.

  Full damp course to the rear of or home

  All dealings with this company, whether it be with their office, surveyor or site manager were positive. They did exactly what the said they would do, when they said that they would do it. There was a small unexpected issue with some cosmetic cracking to my neighbours kitchen wall, on the other side of the party wall and Dampcoursing Ltd. When contacted about this a few months later, they came back and repaired it with no ifs or buts. I could not have asked for more.....

  Damp proofing of walls and tanking of a floor.

  Difficult due to location in an entrance hall and stairwell but well coordinated and good quality work.

  As a chartered surveyor I have been using them and recommending them for 20 years and I have had no damp proofing failures.
