After booking one of our surveyors will lease directly with you to arrange the exact time of arrival, once on site he will require a minimum of 1 hour to conduct all his tests on the property. The entire property inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs and attic space is included in the survey to give an accurate picture and assessment of the problem. Tests conducted will include Thermal Imaging, Moisture Profiling & Air Quality Testing. Once completed the surveyor will complete and forward a report (Normally 15-20 Pages) for you that will split into 3 sections. The first section will outline any existing damage to the property from the damp/mold/condensation/dry rot/rising damp etc The second section will outline exactly what’s wrong, where the dampness is coming from and what the root causes are. The final section will then outline the required remedial works and the steps involved. (We also have a building works team that can conduct th remedial works, so he will attach a quotation of works, so you will have a clear picture of the costs involved to fix the issues on the property) The survey in non-invasive as the testing equipment used can determine the answers without this need. Should you prefer an invasive one this can also be conducted.
