• Replacement of patio door lintel

  Des and Steve came out to rectify the lintel over a double-glazed patio door, which had sagged and caused the brickwork above to loosen. After propping the ceiling all the failed brickwork was removed, the old lintel replaced with a custom-made RSJ, brickwork repairs completed to an excellent standard and the interior fully replastered ready for paint. Des managed the (subcontracted) plasterers very efficiently and all work was completed to the agreed budget and ahead of schedule despite some changes of plan being required. Highly recommended for their professionalism and cheerful competence.

  Des showed genuine interest for this project from the outset. He was keen to understand our needs and wants, and discussed possible pros and cons. He visited 3 times to ensure he'd got everything right before giving us a fixed-price quote He and Steve started work a few days before we went on hols. A friend popped around unannounced at random times most days to check progress. Her summary: always working, never slacking, polite and friendly When we returned they were on schedule. They asked us to check for any problems. A few. All minor. Fixed straight away Genuinely a 5* team

  Des and Steve are the super team. We have a wonderful experience with them from start till end. They have been very professional with their Job,making sure everything goes smoothly and stress free for me. Best thing is Des get in touch with my neighbours, architect, building control, party wall surveyor when there were issues, and resolved effectively without involving me. Love it when he said, " Dont worry, just leave it with me". Building an extension couldbe stressful project for everyone if not found the right person. I would say, I am very lucky to find Des and Steve! Highly recommended

  Cannot fault Des and Steve. From start to finish they have delivered. 8-9 hour days every day, really happy with the results.. More than we originally expected, started on time, completed on time and on budget. We werent planning on getting Driveway done, but decided to do this once the conversion was completed, and they got this completed in 5 days for us. Total work took about 5 weeks from start to finish. Everyone that has seen it has been very complimentary of their work, would 100% recommend these guys for all of your building needs. Reliable honest and good value for money.
