Estimate said one to two days work. Infact in was done in 1.5-2 hours. The estimate was overinflated to justify the cost and the work was not done correctly as afterwards
when they had been paid ,the problems still exist. In fact the problems were not diagnosed at all. What I was told was nonsense. Not to be trusted, I was competely ripped off. I cannot understand how people behave like this.
Response from D&D Roofers & Builders
The client accepted the quote we gave for the work, we cut the tiles on both sides of the valley and sealed it with sand and cement. We also filled in two holes in her wall to stop the birds getting into the loft. We cleaned out the gutters front and back of the property. She asked if we could repair a hole in the fence to keep out the foxes. I brought in more men to finish the job quickly. I did say maybe two days but did the job a lot less. When it came to pay she only paid half the payment. The job we actually done was not leaking. But the gutter was leaking which I did not price for so when she called me about the leak I did not attend as we only got have of the quote. So any guarantee we gave her will be void.
