John from D&J came to do the job as quickly as he could. I’ve used him before and he’s done another excellent piece of work. It was trickier than expected but John managed a great quality finish. They cleared up and left my house in a a good and tidy way. Highly recommended.

Punctual and thorough. Well prepared, pleasant to deal with. Protected all services prior to work and meticulous in their cleaning up. Cheerful and helpful. I would certainly recommend them.

John answered our request promptly made an appointment and arrived on time. He was polite and friendly very knowledgeable and was able to explain the problem and provide the solution which, after an earlier encounter with another contractor (not from checkatrade) was brilliant. The job was completed at a sensible price every thing was kept clean and the room was pristine when he left taking all the mess away. I would recommend this contractor highly

John and his son carried out damp proofing work at our flat. He was on time for both the appointment and work carried out. John is clearly very knowledgeable about his area of work, sharing lots of advice with us. He was also very friendly and offered a fair quote. Communication with John leading up to the appointment was easy, he was always quick to reply. John carried out the work efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. I am more than happy with the work done, and would happily use D&J Damproofing again.

John came to my house to look into a musty smell (I suspected subfloor issue). After inspecting the room and checking with damp meter, John advised there was no work to be done and no signs on damp. Instead he offered loads of advice on improving our ventilation to rid the issue, and advised he would never charge for something that isn't needed. Absolutely amazing and refreshing to meet such a genuine company who won't rip you off. Recommend 100%
