  Fence post repair: replace 2 posts, no garden entrance, access through the house required.

  Terrible service from D&L Property Maintenance. Initially, communication seemed fine, and we agreed on a date (12th December) for a simple fence post repair. Despite confirming the job and sharing all necessary details, they never showed up on the scheduled day, nor did they respond to follow-up messages. I rearranged my schedule and prepped my property for nothing. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable—if you value your time and need a contractor you can trust, look elsewhere!

  Replacing fencing posts

  Had some issues sourcing the right posts but I was kept informed on the situation and they went out of their way to travel some distance to a supplier to pick the posts up. Turned up on time and did a good job. Fair price charged. Will use again in the future.

  Removing decking.

  Second job this company has done for me. Excellent time keeping, very well priced, excellent job done with all rubbish taken away. Highly recommended, defo using them again in the future.

  Back yard gate and fence

  Definitely would not use again. I needed a back yard gate making and fitting, putting up of a fence to disguise an ugly wall, some brickwork tidying up and corrugated plastic roof replacing on carport. Positives: polite, good communication, completed job immediately Negatives: poor quality workmanship. Gate looks great. Hinge placement doesn’t allow it to open properly and poor quality furnishings. Plastic roof a botch which will need to be removed Back yard & street left littered, cans and cigarettes 👎

  New fence - Didn't clean up as promised and hazard issues

  After inviting this company for a quote, this company called me to express interest. They gave me a quote on setting up a new fence and clearing all rubbish. I made sure before the work was undertaken, they went to the property to take measurements and view the current state. After the work has been done, the tenants at the property have just emailed me with pictures which show the rubbish left behind. Also, there are nails/screws hanging out from the fence which look hazardous. I have contacted the company to rectify the issues but they are refusing to go back so I have contacted Checkatrade.
