We fitted the boiler on this job 6 months ago. We connected in to the existing old steel pipework so services could be used. We didn't get the job to replace the kitchen and bathroom which is fair enough. Our connection to the steel pipe had not leaked until the bathroom and kitchen fitters came in. The client called me and said it's all leaked and he wants me to pay to have the damaged floor replaced. Sometimes it's hard to win in this game but if we had fitted that kitchen and bathroom there would be new copper pipes and fittings which we guarantee for life and no leaks!
