    Repairing a botched tiling job

    Posted 1 day ago

I had experienced some awful work by a so called roofer which needed to be dismantled and started again. It involved fitting slate tiles, fitting new ridge tiles and refitting flashing. He also removed the pile of rubbish left on my neighbour’s flat roof by the previous ‘roofer’. His work is as neat as one could ask for and he is very obviously extremely good at what he does. On top of that, he is friendly and explains exactly what has to be done. I cannot recommend him enough..

David quickly identified the problem and gave a reasonable quote. He went the extra mile by repairing the surrounding area too. I have used David before and would recommend him to anyone.

Dave originally installed ours and our neighbours roofs. Did an excellent job. He is happy to come and sort any minor issues which is really helpful.

    Roof inspection

    Posted 01 May

We want to install solar panels and we asked David whether the roof was sound enough for the installation. David visited promptly, had a look externally, and taking into account the roof’s type, tiling and age, flagged several potential risks which he explained to us in detail. He was professional and thorough. His professional help was much appreciated.

    Flat roof repair

    Posted 15 April

We were selling a house and the buyer's survey identified two small areas under flat roofs where there was water ingress. The buyer contacted a local roofer who recommended two new flat roofs! We contacted Dave (who we've used several times before) and he said that replacement was totally unnecessary, and with some clever leadwork and re-doing the coping stone joints, the problem solved - at a fifth of the cost of the other roofer's replacement roof option! Whilst there, he also installed some metal grilles to address a squirrel problem in the loft. 100% Recommend!!!
