    Repairs leaking glass roof of conservatory

    Dave came around next day - confirmed he could complete the repairs ( couldn't do it the same day due to the weather ) and came and carried out repairs - seems to be fine now thanks. Repairs leaking glass roof of conservatory (which original fitter (Elephant windows) refused as we had insulation fitted (despite the fact the leaks started before we had the work done and they have been out twice to repair it in the past once before the insulation fitting). Same panel causing the problem each time.

    Prompt, reliable attendance.

    Responded quickly to our request on Checkatrade for someone to fix our leaking conservatory roof. Came out when they said they would for a quote and 2 days later the roof was repaired. Very pleased and will certainly use again.

    Efficient installation

    The job was to replace a large old garage window. Mr Davey offered suggestions about the possible design of a new one given our requirements and provided a quotation. The ordering process and speed were efficient and we were kept informed about delivery and a choice of installation dates. The removal of the previous window and the installation of the new one were carried out efficiently and easily, and pointing was done neatly. Mr Davey ensured the work site was cleared on completion and we were very pleased with the outcome. This was Mr Davey's second visit for work and we would recommend.

    I made the right call

    I am a landlord who lives at a distance from the rental property I own, so it’s always stressful trying to find reliable tradespeople who can complete work quickly and effectively. I was delighted to come across Davey Home Improvements, who fixed a problem with a broken window handle within hours of my making the call. Job done, my tenant was happy and so was I. I will definitely be calling this company if I need help in future.

    Poor communication

    Work agreed, but job not done as workman called off due to illness. Despite 2 messages over more than 2 weeks, could not contact workman to reschedule. Very dissapointed, would rather he just said he didn't want the job. Given up now.
