Bathroom Fitting
I hired DC Kitchens (David Crook) for a bathroom renovation, and the experience was a disaster. What should’ve been a quick project stretched over four months with constant delays, excuses, and poor workmanship. David frequently missed agreed workdays, citing car issues or last-minute hospital appointments with little notice. The tiling was done incorrectly, and I’ve had to hire someone else to fix his mistakes and start from scratch! Costing me more money. Communication was poor, and I’m now left with an incomplete job. I strongly advise finding a more reliable and professional contractor.

Creative solution to replace existing appliances
David was very prompt to come out and discuss the work he suggested several solutions and quickly advised prices Very helpful, polite and professional. Quickly understood the requirements and completed the work, and no complaining when we hit a few snags Competitively priced.

I chose DC Kitchens purely based on Check a Trade reviews and I was not disappointed. Dave rang me to discuss price and gave me lots of advice prior to coming to install my kitchen. We had a few delays along the way which were not Dave's fault (electrician not putting in correct point for cooker and hob and damaged worktop) I am very happy with my new kitchen. Dave is obviously very experienced at fitting kitchens and pre-empted any problems before they occurred and advised me on solutions. I would high recommend DC Kitchens

Replacement worktops
From the word go the communication was excellent. Dave was able to advise on the most suitable surfaces and any of the preparation that we could do ourselves beforehand. When the work started Dave worked efficiently and cleanly with meticulous attention to detail. We were kept informed at every stage about how things were going and Dave was flexible in his approach and helped us to source, collect and fit new appliances which we hadn’t originally planned for. Dave was prepared to work long days to ensure that we got the kitchen that we wanted. Thanks Dave

Dishwasher full install
Dave first removed the kitchen cabinet carcass to make space for my full size freestanding dishwasher. Replaced faulty waste pipe and cut a hole in cabinet floor for piping. Then finally unpacked and connected up my new dishwasher! Very professional and friendly and helpful. He knew exactly what to do and did a great job. I appreciate he drove about an hour to get here even though it was a small job he did it well and even had to pop out to shops to get a replacement waste pipe part. Thanks!
