Although lintel installed, I wanted and instructed for more than 'the minimum over lap' for greater strength this was not done. Wall cut was not straight, cavity was not closed as instructed by brick (a plastic cover was used, (not what I asked for) ) brick work on inner wall not even left remotely straight or in line with outer wall. I have spent many days correcting this so it has parallel side walls or my door will not fit properly and securely.

Plastic cavity in-closer was used as that what building control wanted. Not bricks turned to leave cavity closed.
It wasnt minimum over lap it what was required by building control. Would of made it unsafe if more bricks were taken out above.
Building control passed the lintel to be safe.
The inner brickwork didn’t get touched by me or Ian as that’s we’re the window was taken out and you was happy with the width of the inner line/wall.
You was more then happy with the job I even came the next day to clean up again after dust had settled but you insisted not to worry you had it under control. We had to cut out a section on brickwork which would of made dust.
