17th century cottage needing lots of TLC to old peg-tiled roof. We had numerous quotes, ranging from £7k to £70k to strip, replace membrane, re-baton and then re-tile using the old tiles. We spotted Dean’s sign on another property being worked on. Following a quick Facebook enquiry we were informed by numerous locals that Dean was the man to employ. His quote was realistic and fixed ( subject to unseen problems) and his attitude was a breath of fresh air. No sharp intakes of breath even when building control were involved. Tip: bacon rolls each morning make for a happy crew

From the very start, Dean has been extremely helpful - from offering advice and providing material samples to passing on contacts - and always communicating clearly the time frames and next steps of the works. Dean and his team were always tidy and polite - very important with our family living in the house! The work carried out is fantastic - and many people have already commented positively on the new roof. Dean went above and beyond by helping arrange for the old tiles to be re-used by a reclaim company. We'd highly recommend Dean and would certainly use him again. Thank you!
