    Damp proofing in lounge

    I am very happy with all the work Darren and his team have done and would highly recommend using DFT Damp Proofing and Plastering. From the initial quote to finish, communication with Darren was excellent. He and his team, Anthony and Nathan, were professional, organised, polite and friendly and left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day. The quality of their work is of a very high standard.

    Highly Recommended.

    Darren and his team recently carried out damp proofing and plastering work at my property in Hastings, and I’m very pleased with the results. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and it’s clear they take real pride in what they do. DFT Damp Proofing & Plastering was founded by myself, Darren Tingey, in 1997 after completing my time with one of London’s largest plastering companies. I worked across London and the South East, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of plastering projects.


Following this, I spent four years with a major London-based damp proofing company, where I deepened my knowledge of rising damp and waterproofing systems. I then worked alongside a highly respected local builder for five more years, learning the interior and exterior aspects of the building trade through his 30 years of experience.


Today, I bring over 39 years of experience in all areas of plastering, rendering, damp proofing, rising damp treatment, tanking, and general building works. I work closely with my long-time colleague Anthony, and together we’ve built a company known for being honest, reliable, and highly skilled.


We also collaborate with trusted professional trades when required. We pride ourselves on clear communication, and we are always clean, respectful, and tidy when working in our clients’ homes. Our goal is to consistently deliver the highest standard of workmanship.


All damp proofing work comes with a 20-year company guarantee, and we can also offer insurance backed guarantees on request.
