A difficult job that necessitated sanding down back to the original oak woodwork before applying 5 coats of varnish. Darren and Jack worked really well together with up to date information regarding difficulties with the weather, stripping down and varnishing. In view of the weather the job took longer to conclude but the final result was really first class. I would certainly recommend DH Property Maintenance.

Darren painted my weatherboarding a few years ago and I disappointed when the paint started to peel after only two years. I sent Darren a message and really didn't expect to hear back, but he was on the phone in minutes. He repainted the weatherboarding and gave me a good discount on painting the outside of my mum's house. Things sometimes go wrong but the measure of a good tradesman is a pride in his work. Darren and Jack did a great job on both houses -now with a 15yr guarantee on the paint -and I'm very pleased. All credit to them. Lovely people to work with as well - tidy job. Many thanks.

Darren and Jack have painted the windows at the front of our Victorian house. Two sashes needed replacing, and other areas needed repairs and filling. Darren also identified improvements that were non-essential, but have greatly improved the look of the windows. The work has all been performed to an exemplary standard, and the windows look like new. The new sashes will be fitted when the putty has hardened, and the windows will look remarkable then. We are so pleased, that we asked Darren to return in the Spring and do similar work on our front door and porch, which are also showing their age.
