  Matt from District Damp Proofing responded really quickly to my enquiry via Checkatrade, and was very friendly and helpful on the phone. We agreed a fair price and a date for the job, and Matt and the team arrived on time and completed the tanking job quickly and efficiently. It was carried out in good time from enquiry to completion as well, and the team were on site for 4 days. The guys on the job were efficient, helpful and friendly, and very tidy too.   Damp survey for a property we were buying.

  Firstly and most importantly Mathew was easy to contact and fantastic at keeping in touch. Mathew was amazing and brilliant at keeping in touch throughout the whole procedure. Nothing was too much trouble for Mathew, easy to talk to, explaining everything, answering questions and happy to help. Simple and easy to follow report with pictures to back up his findings. Wonderful to have a simple report at the end stating what parts can be completed by the company and what parts can’t be completed by the company. If we do go ahead and buy the property I can assure you we will be asking Mathew.

  Cellar conversion

  The team were diligent in their attention to both the technical solution for a very wet cellar with blown tanking - full membrane, sump pump - and the final finish of new stud walls, plastering, plumbing and electrics. The team were all pleasant and considerate. Plus the pricing was really competitive and not blown out to include a level of finish we didn’t need, but always thinking about our intended use for the space. Including some great finishing touches we didn’t expect. We’ve gone from a wet and almost unusable storage space to a multi use space at great value for money.
