  Damp Proofing

Mathew came to my home for both a damp survey and then 2 years later his team came back to carry out some of the repairs. He was always very communicative and willing to discuss the work needed. His team were lovely to have around and overall provide a very reliable service.

Too many dangerous mistakes. No guarantee provided

Matt inspected and quoted for our cellar and bedroom, then sent T to do the work. T was lovely, but the mistakes were unacceptable. The wrong part of wall was dampproofed, insulation touching membrane caused mould, mismatched pipes caused a leak and extra costs. Live electrical wires were left loose behind the new wall, creating a fire risk. The extraction fan was installed at the wrong angle, allowing rain into the cellar and leaving it not working. Months later, we still have no guarantee. And Matt no longer responds meaning I need to get someone else out to to fix! ADDITION [12/10/2026] - Matt has now returned and rectified the issues identified in my original review. Matt has apologised for mistakes made and explained why he didn't respond. He has also provided the warranty that was promised. I am pleased that these matters have now been resolved and that the work has been completed to our satisfaction.

  Great Service

A very professional service. A thorough inspection was carried out and the required treatment provided. From start to finish the whole service was excellent. The team in the office managed my appointment and kept me informed of who would attend and when. The survey was thorough and I had everything explained and the treatment required was carried out speedily. I was very happy with the service and would use again

  RELIABLE AND EXCELLENT SERVICE

As builders and property landlords, we approached Mat through Checkatrade, for a one-off job at one of our rented properties that was showing signs of damp. Mat provided an excellent service from start to finish. The quality of the work was very good, and everything was completed to a high standard. Communication throughout the job was clear and consistent, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He is now our go to contractor for any damp related work we require carrying out.
